As it has with Garth McVicar and Margaret Robertson in the past. The People's
Choice Party stand for and will always support binding referendum's and people's democracy. And have done at their peril. A public outcry starts with a few good people.
A few good people like Colin Sheryl and Larry. And Garth Margaret and Steve before them.
The threat is growing the course is too strong. So therefore I see no reason to go down that path again. At one point in its history, even the Labour Party supported it here in NZ. Others that come to mind are Winston's NZ First, the Direct Democracy Party, Democrats for Social Credit and I guess the Kiwi Party given Larry Baldock is proposing a new referendum to make referendums binding.

Change will only happen when there is a public outcry for binding referendums. Momentum is starting to happen so I have no doubt the dream will burst in to reality.Steve Baronhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18231150911705855174noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33150821.post-75139763033035363432009-11-17T08:05:46.905+13:002009-11-17T08:05:46.905+13:00I wish you every success with the march but doubt ...I wish you every success with the march but doubt government will do anything as a result. Form a political party and campaign for binding referenda legislation and you become a threat that is ignored at peril.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
